K-Town Food Marathon Pt 3: Hite Kwang-Jang

By the time we hit our last leg, most of us were nearly full. We ordered sparingly, just two large pitchers (of course) of Hite "special" which is Hite (the plainest but most refreshing Korean beer) mixed with a thick generic stout to give you something like an ale without hops.

Then we ordered the yang-yyum dalk nal gae or spicy chicken wings, which comes with cold pickled moo (korean turnip). The wings are not just extremely hot in temperature, they're on the high end of the spiciness that I can tolerate. Wedges of potato add some nice starch.

They also comped us a large pa-jun. Moments in this leg of the marathon get hazy because I was just stuffed to the gills. I know the guys enjoyed this, as they chowed down on the spicy wings. Finally, since we were asked to move tables to accommodate a larger group (happens in casual Korean places), they gave us an ice-cold plate of fresh lychee!

oye, korean food goes so well with beer, but i usually get stuffed from the beer and can't eat too much =\

one of the reasons why i was so stuffed was because we had about 5 bottles of hite and two pitches of the hite special that night. so i feel ya.
